Happy Birthday Shiina!
Happy birthday Shiina Ringo! Thank you for all the awesome music you've given us over the years. Here's a song you inspired me to write

Happy belated, SR! And also, nice work, hedgehog. Very Ringo-like!

It's sad to say it but...
Your music is actually way better than a lot of the songs occuring in Ukina. Thanks for sharing |

Thanks, Entry№1 and teattum. My goal is one day to write a song for Shiina to sing. Some day...

This is all kinds of awesome. Are you sure this isn't a song that Ringo wrote and lost? If this was on her next album, I would not be upset. So this is what an inspired fan can create? The world deserves great music like Ringo's. Thank you very much.
And it's a bit late, but Happy Birthday to the woman that touched all of our hearts. |

Actually, Ringo inspired me to compose original music too. But I haven't come up with anything of this quality. There is a lot to be said about this piece. Any tips?

Thanks again. I'd love to hear your music. And as far as advice the only thing I know is that if I write a song on piano it comes out much more melodic than on guitar. That song I specifically tried to come up with a weird chord progression and I just went chord by chord. Most of my other music I find that the more something I write annoys me the more other people will like it.
Probably not the best of advice but that's the best I've got |

Thank you for the advice, all the same. I can't get enough of your bass. I'll be sure to think about it when I'm composing again. I'd like to see a thread where members can share Ringo-inspired art (whether it be music, short stories, videos, or drawings).
