Haha, I'll try! I bought a guitar a while ago and that's all I've been playing it like it owes me money so I've had a hard time keeping up with some things. When I got Watashi to Houden in the mail I suddenly remembered about this place. It's good to see that it's still awesome without there being any new songs put out by Ringo or the band.

Thanks, dude =). I really miss STR:IKE//UP, though . Which also reminds of the song I got the name from (boutomin). I haven't heard Variety in ages and, to be honest, I haven't missed it all that much. I've been on a UK swing recently (Arctic Monkeys, Shadow Puppets, Rascals). The Ringo release, though, really got me into her again after listening to the two cds back-to-back.

Wow this is kick arse news, can't wait to see what the final T-shirts look like.

I'm blatantly not going to be able to resist buying them all.

anyone notice for the cover of Watashi no Houden the electric bolt is going right their back where she had surgery and scars from the operation? And they are absent from this photo (photoshop?) I mean I'm surprise I didn't notice this earlier but the cover pretty much showcases her back, like so intentionally it blinds us to actually realize that she is baring the same spot that gets so much talk during previous releases.

Ohhh, that's a good point. I feel like her back has been exposed so much that the bit about the scars seems almost like a myth. I could have sworn I saw them at Spa & Treatment but it was "tape". wtf.

it was not really a tape.. or the tape was exactly in the place the scars are.. cause i've seen other vids of her and the scar is right there..
i guess it was a fukuoka live

no, she definitely has them. you can see them in many of her photoshoots (especially the early stuff with Rocking On Japan with the black dress/metal crating, and gold necklace) and especially ringo no uta PV where at the end you can see how uneven her entire neckline/shoulder line is.....I think it was definitely intention to release this cover like. it is kind of a nod to the fans who know and is similar in a way to when she removed her mole. it might not be surgery, it could probably just be photoshop, but it says a similar thing as the mole, that she has moved on and is a different person now. and the electric bolt piercing that part couldn't be more relevant.

I was gunna post my photos of both the DVD and the 2CD (not that they're anything no one has seen or anything), but couldn't figure out how to thumbnail them.

But they're up at my blog here

My CD2 has three extra tracks at the end in the following order:

膨らんできちゃった
はいはい
光合成

I cannot read Japanese, can someone please tell me what songs these are and possibly where they first appeared?

Thanks.

Andrew

the songs are

1. fukurandekichatta (it's swollen)
2. haihai (yes yes)
3. kougousei (photosynthesis)

they are taken from one of her singles entitled Zecchoshu, from the 3rd disc where Ringo played secret lives with a side band she created called Hatsuiku Status, whom with she also released the dvd Hatsuiku Status Gokiritsu Japon. The tracks Mellow, Fukou Jiman, and So Cold were also taken straight from Zecchoshu. The other disc on that single was Yattsuke Shigoto, Gamble, and Onaji Yoru. The single was released after Gibbs, before Mayonaka wa Junketsu, and is a collection of 3 8cm discs, three songs each. So with this collection you essentially have 2 of the 3 discs.
