Hi all, I'm new here. stumbled upon this great Tokyo Jihen forum in English when I was trying to find out on how to get a ticket to one of their concerts.
I'll be visiting Japan in Nov, and was hoping to catch their show on 12 Nov at Nagoya Century Hall. I understand from the ticketing site that normal sales starts 28 Aug and costs ¥6600. Can anyone advise , or even assist me in getting a ticket to this show? I've enquired a "3rd party ticket agent" and this is a reply I got (at the bottom of this post). He further mentioned that ticket though the normal sales channel is subject to balloting (lottery). Is it true? Thanks for reading. I don't even get it. I understand TJ is popular, but they honestly aren't THAT popular. Why are their tickets so expensive?
I mean, you have other Japanese artists with comparable sales having shows that don't even sell out. WTH? And I thought ticket sales (+prices) were supposed to be going down |

I think the number of shows for TJ are very little... And Ringo is one hell of a performer.

Apparently, this (3rd-party) ticket agent said he's getting it from the "black market". From someone who already has an advance sale ticket. And not from the official ticket sales channel.

OK, a quick check on yahoo auction JP yields these results:
http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/s...ab_ex=commerce so he's about right, if he were to buy it off yahoo auction. I wonder if it's really so hard to buy a ticket from 28 aug when the official ticket agent starts selling them. |

Mina-san konnichiwa.
I'm in the same boat as chinnian: I'm visiting Japan in October and would love to go to one of the TJ shows in Fukuoka (I actually timed my trip accordingly), but I have no chance getting a ticket from Germany. Is anyone on the forum maybe willing to help me get a ticket on Sunday? Of course I'd pay extra for the work involved. Doumo arigatou gozaimasu. |

Tengoku e Youkoso? Kachiikusa was kind of out of left field, so I don't know. Kabuki and Fukushuu were spine tracks, but Daihakken obviously doesn't have one.
