Why does everyone hate Ukigumo so much?

Yeah this is pretty much answered already in other threads, most recently beginning from HERE, so this thread gets closed. I won't delete it though, since this seems to be a common question by new people here (and we know it's getting to be our reputation as a forum that "everyone here hates Uki" even though it's mostly just a vocal minority that really do the HATING) so I'd like to keep this thread as a go-to answer for those people. But it really doesn't need to be discussed again!!
