It does get really forgotten in the mix, as do a lot of songs on UM. Fuck it I'm gonna listen to UM right now.
BOOP OOP A DOOP Im surprised she didn't bring this out in EXPO 14 with her Marilyn Monroe look now I think about it. Weird.

It's all a bait-and-switch. People are gonna come to see Ringo and it's gonna turn out to be a tour of Uki, Saito Neko, iDevian, and Aya & Bambi.

Momen no Handkerchief is pretty much the only song off of UM that I listen to, but... You guys do realize that there is a second singer (Nao Matsuzaki) in the song, right? Would you really have liked to hear that bald dude from GX, Hirama or Uki singing half the song?

It's been a long time since I've been reminded of that album, which is rather ignored here. It was an early favorite of mine; might have been the first Ringo I bought cheap after discovering NYC Book-Off. Playing it again now.

I enjoy overthinking these things, but judging by the promo pics this year I think that this setlist would be appropriate. The instrumentation would feature plenty of Nagoshi and Zazen-style FX. Wakare (Futuristic 2099 edition) Bonsai Hada Heavy Metallic Girl Shijou no Jinsei To Rock Bottom Shoushitsu 0maru chiten kara Bouenkyou no Naka no Kioku Togatta Teguchi Saihate Ga Mitai Zettai Zetsumei Terrible Adults Kachi Ikusa Serious Relationship Welcome to Heaven Sweet Spot Absolute vs Negative Irohanihoeto Ringo no Uta Kodoku no Akatsuki Arikitari na Onna Shuraba Noudouteki Sanpunkan NIPPON Sakasa ni Kazoete Jinsei wa Omoidōri I thought there would be more room for classic solo songs, but alas no (I still think there's a bigger chance she'll do more throwbacks to classic SR). UM is great. Somehow it sounds like every SR/Jihen album, *including* Variety. Last edited by Scribble R : 2015.06.09 at 01:55 PM. |
