Muzai was my pick. Its not bad, but if she still made tracks like that now, I'd be kinda disappointed. I think she finally found her niche when she brought the electronic and classical music elements into her sound with a touch of jazziness to rock. That didnt happen until her following albums.

KZK.
You need to "prepare yourself" and "be in the right frame of mine" before you listen to the album.
Too much effort.

I agree with JR! I love MM and SS too much to vote either of them the "worst." I always enjoy listening to KSK, but when it comes to albums I'm EXCITED to put on, MM/SS all the way. SG too, I'm a total fan like deadgrandma.

By that token, I vote SS because I can rag on it without feeling too bad.

Seriously though, I can't say which is my favorite/least favorite. Whichever one I'm listening to at the time is my favorite. :|

definitely MM. while I really like this album and thinks it's a great debut album for any artist, SS and KZK are much stronger efforts, plus having a screamo version of koufukuron instead of the classic single ver. was a huge mistake imo

Having thought about it, justriiingo and frecklegirl are right. Voting KZK because MM and SS are just more accessible and fun to me these days.

Also: KZK doesn't have any scat singing, which is arguably connected to her genius as much as her mole. Granted it wouldn't suit the project, but the scat singing comes back for Kokoro and Omatsuri Sawagi, which are practically the two best Tokyo Jihen songs anyway...

All three are fantastic albums. But I've gotta say Muzai Moratorium because it doesn't have the heavy-hitting tracks Shouso Strip does (Kyogenshou, Yokushitsu, Tsumi to Batsu, Honnou, Izonshou, etc.) and it doesn't create the lush soundscapes that KSK does.

Still love it to death though.

At the end of the day, Muzai Moratorium is my least favorite simply because I have fewer favorites off of that album than I do the others. Hell, it's the only SR album of which I don't actually own a copy.

I strongly disagree with Kyogenshou being a heavy hitter. In fact, I'd say it's either the worst track on the album or maybe second worst with Benkai Debussy.
