She sang this song intentionally clumsily to meet role in this movie but some ppl thought that she was really tone‐deaf.
So she recorded same song in her own album. |

After several months, I still can't get enough of this. It feels like a hypnotic vibe nurturing your senses. Kind of creepy, yet refreshing. Watch the original video if you like this. |

The Strokes - Under Cover of Darkness
http://www.somekindofawesome.com/jou...-darkness.html Shocker: The Strokes' new single demolishes Tokyo Jihen's despite being way more poppy. A strong chorus really goes a long way in making a song.

Kelis - Scream
Despite the part with classic pop song bad rapping, I like this. The melody seems really strong. If this piques your interest, you might want to check out the whole Flesh Tone album she put out last year, which I have been surprised to like so much. It works within a house/"dance" framework, not so much R&B per se. Yeah, the album has a very conventional pop/club/dance framework, but it also has good tunes and harmonies, along with unexpected details, such as some of the surprise track segues. Also, it has an emotional range which, again, you might not expect given the formulaic side of the music.
(I love how everyone now gets accused of copying Lady Gaga, even if their career has been twice as long or whatever.) Last edited by Superficial Fan : 2011.02.11 at 08:48 AM. |

My girlfriend and I listened to the new Lady Gaga song. She didn't like it. I told her that now she was a true fan.

I used to be a Gaga fanatic, then I realized that she's a lying businesswoman with a good voice. And she rips people off like no other (e.g. Born This Way). |

I don't know where else she really ripped off someone else. If you could enlighten me that'd be great.
I know she used the Bowie lightning bolt, which kinda made me like her more. 'Cause I <3 Bowie. I don't like Born This Way. It is very Express Yourself-y, but in a bad wayy. Posting this because I can:
