Not really. Seems like a list curated mostly by people who weren't even old enough to be buying vinyl in the 80s, and whose revisionist musical history will be supplanted by a newer one in a few years.

Randomly stumbled across a person doing a Kabuki-Cho cover on Youtube and she does her own original songs (in Korean) and is pretty good.

I am over the moon with these Beatles remixes. They just dropped the first of the White Album remixes, While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I already spent way more money on the White Album than I ought to.

All joking aside, if the sound was just a shade rougher it would be perfect. Dig this, thank you!

Edit: this sent me on a japanese music rediscovery rabbit hole. I will never understand why Kinoku Teikoku isn't more loved around here. They are super consistent, melodic, and nice and crunchy. They're such a lovely band.

I get why Oomori has the mantle around here, but Kinoku Teikoku really ought to be the contrarian's pick.

The fact Utada gets discussed round here more than Brilliant Green is probably why I often feel like I'm the outside looking in.
