Nobuhiko Nakayama (programming)
Nobuhiko Nakayama (中山信彦) was probably responsible for most of the electronic awesomeness of Shousou Strip. He was also responsible for 2 (of the most interesting) tracks on Sanmon Gossip - Zero Chiten Kara and Togatta Teguchi.
He has a twitter account! And also a soundcloud page if his current project, Phototronika. I'm not sure what genre I would classify this music. It's very pretty, open, contemplative electro-piano driven melodies (maybe more chordal), but interesting chord progressions. I googled and youtubed and it seems like this guy is pretty big into modular synths. WARNING: This stuff is gonna make u go WTF.
Nakayama starts playing around the 2min mark.

This guy was responsible for the fantastic version of Tsumiki Asobi on Zazen XTC, right? He should be used more often or should replace Izawa in Tokyo Jihen.

Do you mean this one?
Where did u know that from? But either way, this dancehall electro version is *so great* There's another synth guy that SR worked with on Yokushitsu... But I couldn't find that much information on him.

"Modular Synthesizer Party"
Attend one in your area today! Seems listening to those vids it's safe to guess he was involved with Tamatebako? Similar beats / synth lead? (That Tsumiki Asobi is fantastic.) Last edited by so_cold : 2011.05.17 at 01:03 PM. |

Even Minagawa Makoto is better than Izawa... How I miss his piano... He played a bit for the piano part of Senko Shoujo when Izawa was responsible for the guitar part. |
