^ Thanks for you too!
It seems you own one copy of Ringo File and zarya said "with mostly text and a few pages of nice pictures". Is there only really a few? or how many pages of pictures it haves? |

I counted 57 pictures in total, some double page and some half page.
(I may be off by one or two) |

At the very least, this should make Ringo Books a little more widespread (with presumably lower prices) on Yahoo! Japan Auctions than they otherwise would have been.

Well well well...
http://www.towerrecords.co.jp/sitema...DS_SORT_CD=107 Now, who can help me register for this damn website? Why is the only available country Japan? And how come I have to enter both a Japanese and an international shipping address? @___@ Edit: I just put in a fake Japan address and then edited it out once I was registered... strange. Edit 2: OK CHANGED MY MIND... AUD$250?????????? LOL!!!!!!! Edit 3: Just going over it, there's a symbol next to it when you go to order... and that happens to reveal "This titles is not delivered outside from japan." I was so pissed when I signed up for Tower Records Japan during late 2006, in hopes of buying Sakuran promo DVDs (ones that came with movie theater tickets). Then I find out they won't ship it outside of Japan.
I feel for ya.

I really want this book, now that I think about it. Tower sucks for not shipping overseas. how did most people pre-order, through a middle man like shoppingmalljapan? |

I eventually got those Sakuran DVDs from Yahoo! Japan Auctions. You have to understand that this was before the KYNK single came out, and this was before the Heisei Fuuzoku DVD. Even if you didn't particularly care for the cinematography or the picture quality on the trailers, for awhile it was the 'only' way to get Karisome Otome in any form.
And yes, I pre-ordered several Ringo Books from Kronekodow via a middleman already - during the time window in the middle of March. All that this Tower Records deal accomplishes for individual buyers, is allowing you to arrange a proxy-buy even later than the original time window. This makes the Tower Records offer more of AN opportunity rather than like THE opportunity, as you still need a middleman just as much as you did before. If there's anything extra-special about the Tower offer, it's that they might unintentionally be more group-buy friendly. For example, Kronekodow would cap you at 5 Ringo Books, and we don't know what they're going to charge for domestic shipping within Japan (if anything). Tower does free domestic shipping on large orders, and they aren't capping you on the quantity of Ringo Books. So say you have 10 continential Americans who each want a Ringo Book. They pool their money together, and tell a middleman in Japan to order 10 Ringo Books from Tower. The only significant part of the shipping cost is to get the books out of Japan. Also, the commission fee from the middleman is a much lower percentage than if 10 international buyers were approaching the middleman individually for 1 Ringo Book each. The hypothetical 10 buyers end up so much better off than if they had tried to go through Kronekodow (which would have required at least two transactions - if they could even do that). If you're an every-man-for-himself kind of guy (especially after what happened with Brad), then the Tower offer doesn't really change anything for you.

well, it was worth it for the tickets, and the cool packaging I guess. The DVD is pretty worthless though.
