Muzai Moratorium as second choice indeed.
No other Ringo/Jihen album can blow you away with their opening three tracks, like Muzai Moratorium can. While the rest of the album isn't consistently that strong, many of those songs are underrated. Koko de Kiss Shite (in single/album form) is the most overplayable Ringo/Jihen track though.

For Tokyo Jihen or Saito Neko concerts, they don't cover Shouso Strip more often than Muzai Moratorium, and that's because Shouso Strip simply isn't the most flexible work Ringo has done. Maybe you'd call it "flexible" when you compare Shouso Strip tracks to each other, but in the context of being able to arrange them into other versions, Shouso Strip doesn't live up to the other albums. The B-Sides that preceded Muzai Moratorium were also much more flexible (and original), than the B-Sides that came before Shouso Strip.

I would take SS as my second choice. I love Maruno uchi sadistic, but SS is just too full of good songs. But I think Tsumi to Batsu alone would be enough...

KZK and SS are really close

It was my first choice. MM isn't really penetratin' the fan base currently. Maou's currently playin' wit hisself, Phil. [/Ray Hudson]

I think.... KSK. Then HF. And then MM. They all move me in different ways. I didn't really like SS that much.

MM has the unfortunate advantage of being "most people's second favorite album." Its quality, through and through. But it lacks "da big singles" SS has, or it lacks the experimentation KZK has, or the...RLBM of Adult for some people apparently. Those things give their respective albums the personal edge over the sure-fire quality that was MM.

Russian Lake Baikal Maps, apparently. I suppose it's true, I don't remember much of that in MM.

RLBM is the sardonic acronym I coined for "Refined, laid-back, and Mature" in the Adult thread, describing what people liked most about the album (which happened to be aspects I disliked.) I just wound up not using the phrase as much as I thought I would.
