I'm around the first three options only difference being I was actually afraid of misjudging and that I'd end up regretting not buying some of it, missing out on 'gems'. I don't think this has actually happened though... but let's say for example; a year from now Shiina wakes up bumping her head hard and coming up with a brilliant rock album some 5 months later thinking she's a rock star. I might miss the gap between Variety and 'Hypothetical Xcstacy*' :<

Note: Sanmon Gossip for example is really good, but only kind of, but it was during a phase in my life where I felt too dissappointed by her work. I never spoke ill about it but it just wasn't my cup of tea at all I guess. Shun was really great and I'd probably rather buy it as a single than the album.

I don't know, maybe her next move will be to go on tour and reveal in the first concert that she will only perform new songs!!!! Of course some of them will be never used before demo tapes, like 'lay down' and 'girl', but I'm fine with that.
Then she will release a live album with a DVD, which will be awesome, but we here will be already listening to the bootlegs and watching fan cams
and after a year she will make an orchestrated album with the songs from this 'Hypothetical Xcstacy' album, all arranged by Neko... which is a huge turn down, but hey, at least we got a good live album out of it!

A couple of years ago I played many of my favourite Ringo songs in the car on a regular basis.

I no longer buy any Ringo stuff, not that I don't support her, she's not my top priority when it comes to collecting.

Also her decision to not perform abroad is selfish and narrow-minded.

Since this place has been back up and running, I've caught the Ringo bug again. I've been buying up a lot of concert DVDs from her back catalog that I've been meaning to get around to owning but haven't yet. For the first time in a long time I've gotten a real life friend into Shiina Ringo with a similar fervor I had when I was first a fan and I really want to watch those concerts with her.
