First of all, I don't like metal, and I never will no matter how much you tell me Boris is awesome.
Second of all, it's not just the playing, but the parsing of influences, and the conversation, and the bonding. Third of all, I may not know a lot about guitar, but I fail to see how that video is more inspiring than what I posted. |

Because asian lady.
More seriously though, this goes back to an old, classic EMF argument of how important technical display is in a performance. Wata and St. Vincent's videos are each impressive in their own way. (Though I think Wata's approach is difficult to convey in a youtube clip.) And never say never to metal, TurtleFu!

are they AKB48's (even more) crappy sister group?
I'll never get why non-pedophile people like this kind of teenage idol groups? imo these groups togeter with the various visual-kei bands give Japanese music it's bad name in the west as weeaboo-music |

Pedophile? That's like a forty year old man liking a 5-year-old. These girls are 16-25. Damn fine young women if you ask me. Plus you like Perfume and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, who are in the same age group :p
Listen to the melodic synth reminiscent of 80's classic idol pop, funky bass, and youthful vocals. It's awesome! |

While I dismiss most these bands, do you dismiss every single one Matan? Surely GAME/Triangle by Perfume has something appealing for you? (For EVERYONE actually). Both of those albums have serious approaches and production value that should make anyone in the EDM business scared about the future of their career... truly an amazing kick to listen to (Unlike Kyary Pamyu Pamyu who I find a 5 minute sugar rush and not much more). I can see why there are so many hardcore fans of the band from these two albums, as much as I don't wanna like em out of the 'ick! stay away idol band!' principle- I can't keep denying something this special when I hear it. To dismiss these 2 albums is doing yourself a disservice. It's like passing up Shouso Strip cause it has flowers on the cover. Uggh I feel sick about being this positive about Perfume. To balance the space time continuum disruption I'll end with: Pity then, about anything after these two by Nakata though. Sigh. Talk about lost potential.
