Seriously? It's getting good reviews, what's wrong with it? I think I'm getting it for Christmas.

All you do is pressing buttons to get flashy animations, but that isn't even satisfying, because you have almost no way to do it wrong, because the time window for combos and whatever is always SEVERAL SECONDS. So you don't even feel rewarded because there was no way to do it badly. So there is no way to be good.

If it's just a bunch of quick time flashiness without substance then I think I'll give it a miss, I like a challenge and this doesn't sound like one at all.

But PoP is different. It isn't MEANT to be QTE, but it IS. 80% of the game consists of wallruns with different variations. Doing all this is just pressing jump , sometime B in between when you're supposed to. Fights are a bit more comlicated and they are DISGUISED as normal battles, but they are in fact nothing but QTE. You just press the face buttons in different orders. It's all QTE without any buttons showing. And now be reminded that for all these disguised QTE you always have LOTS OF TIME to execute them. Imagine a game were you push only one button per 5 seconds, which doesn't even have to be timed right. Now imagine the game exactly tells you which button every time. That's PoP.

The Resident Evil 5 demo is pretty awesome. 2 levels and split screen co-op. The game is bloody hard! The zombies never seem to stop, and there's nowhere you can hide. You go into a building to get a herb and they literally smash the walls down and jump down through the ceiling.
It's essentially Resident Evil 4 with prettier graphics (they are very pretty), co-op and better controls (type D is much better than Resi 4 style, but the aiming is slow as hell by default so turn it up to fastest) but that's pretty much what I expected and I can't complain that it isn't exactly innovative; it's still just as fun.

Xbox 360. It's only out on the Japanese marketplace (despite being entirely in English, and called "Resident Evil 5" and not "Biohazard 5") and it region locks you out now but you can download the demo from most torrent sites, burn the folder to a CD and boot the 360 with the disc in the tray. The demo will show up in your demo list on the 360. You don't need a modded console, the 360 can play demos burned to CD by default.
