Default Ukigumo

Hello, I'm new to these forums, but i am a huge Tokyo Jihen fan.

I am wondering if anyone knows what sort of guitar Ukigumo uses. I usually hate twangy instruments, but the way he handles it contributes to Tokyo Jihen's very distinguished sound.

Thank You,
-Matthew

Maybe this thread will help? I don't know any exact names or types.

We like to describe his distinguished guitar tone using the adjectives 'dead' and 'lifeless'.

Welcome to the forum

Some of them do, anyways. I agree with you, Wombat.. he's a wonderful guitarist and his tone is unique (in a good way).

To add to that, Uki mostly plays Telecaster-based guitars. He plays a Fender Telecaster customized by Psychederythm and a Song Bird Phantom with Telecaster hardware. His amps are a Roland JC-120 and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.
