Glass Candy - Digital Versicolor

I've touted this band ever since their album "Beatbox" came out, short and breezy with very little fat on the cd. Felt like posting this since NME finally got their asses around to reviewing the cd like a week ago.

About the VMAs, I only saw that part where this British comedy guy owned the only 10 minutes where the show was worth anything at all.

CLT: Kanye West - Love Lockdown

For the second time, because I found the VMA performance. It will be the last time, I hope.

Love Lockdown is kinda trashy compared to what Kanye is capable of. Anyways, yeah, the VMAs suck, the VMAs have sucked before, the VMAs will always suck.

I liked MTV before they started doing cheap reality TV shows.

The worst moments of MTV are the lesser-of-two-evils to me, compared to the best moments of its cultural predecessor during the 80s - American Bandstand. Eventually MySpace will become the newly-crowned lesser-of-two-evils for music 'discovery'.

Currently Listening To:
SHERBETS - Pink Soda Days

MTV and Night Flight both debuted in 1981, and my friends and I far preferred the latter. Going back a decade, I suppose one could debate the relative merits of The Midnight Special and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, but thankfully that probably won't happen here.

CLT: Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls
