Top 10 Beatles Songs
I know we already have a thread for this band, but I figured I'd focus the discussion here. I woke up this morning and started thinking about my favorite songs the Beatles had done, and I realized that everyone probably has very different lists because of the Xtreme talent these dudes had. I'm just throwing a really rough list together, and it will definitely change in the near future (because I haven't given it much thought yet), but I'd like to see what other people consider their top 10. You can go over 10, it's not too strict, but don't list every song they ever recorded. Also, if you want to do two lists for "Best" and "Favorite," go ahead.
Mine (Favorite): 1) Oh Darling 2) Rocky Raccoon 3) For No One 4) Happiness is a Warm Gun 5) Hey Jude 6) In My Life 7) I Don't Want to Spoil the Party 8) Something 9) Lady Madonna 10) I Want You (She's So Heavy) 11) Nowhere Man Hmmmm, I feel like these aren't even my favorites. There must be something missing. |

In no particular order...
1. Blackbird 2. You Never Give Me Your Money (The whole medley, really) 3. Your Mother Should Know 4. I am the Walrus 5. You Won't See Me 6. As My Guitar Gently Weeps 7. Oh Darling 8. Good Day Sunshine 9. Something (Though I prefer the Smokey Robinson's cover) 10. I Want You (I'm not sure if I genuinely love this, or whether I'm being betrayed by its 'epicness'. Whatever) HM: Get Back (Though I prefer Al Green's cover) |

Here's a list off the top of my head:
A Day In The Life Strawberry Fields Something Because Abbey Road Medley (Cheating, but I can't possibly seperate them) Oh Darling Eight Days A Week Across The Universe Let It Be Don't Let Me Down Hello Goodbye From Me To You Day Tripper I Saw Her Standing There Twist And Shout Do You Want To Know A Secret Norwegian Wood Nowhere Man Girl In My Life I'm Looking Through You Happiness Is A Warm Gun While My Guitar Gently Weeps Blackbird Julia And now here is my attempt to squash that down into a top 10. 1. A Day In The Life 2. Strawberry Fields 3. Abbey Road Medley 4. Happiness Is A Warm Gun 5. Something 6. I Saw Her Standing There 7. Don't Let Me Down 8. I'm Looking Through You 9. Hello Goodbye 10. Eight Days A Week. My top 2 are always my top 2, they'll never change. 3, 4 and 5 will always be in my top 10, though not necessarily in those positions. The other 5 spots are open and could change on a daily basis.

Having wiki'd a few songs due to this thread, I had absolutely no idea that 'She Loves You' was written in a building I walk past on an almost weekly basis.
