I take the feet thing as a purity thing. People in some cultures wash their feet over and over again. Also, legs in general, are connected with innocence, so by default, I extend that to feet. Exceptionally clean feet. Bubbles that destroy everything. Maybe Shiina is trying to embrace pop culture, and pop music, and that's why her most recent work has been as it has (I still like it, but it's obvious that TJ is trying to communicate with a wider range of people, meaning not us music geeks). So perhaps this is all about her trying to make music that pleases people, embrace the general public, and then having it basically crap all over her?
That's what I get. I thought it was fairly obvious that it wasn't just a bunch of foot smut shots. Also, the phone, with the bubbles. Communication. Musical Artists communicate through their music, and the lines are being blocked by BUBBLES AND BUBBLES POP. SO POP MUSIC. (maybe I'm just grasping at straws, blah)

I think the entire clip is clearly a reference to the film 'Death Bed: The Bed That Eats'
http://coilhouse.net/2007/12/05/deat...bed-that-eats/ note the shot where the bed emits yellow foam to consume the apple: http://plantman998.blogspot.com/2007...-bed-that.html I can't think of a single other explanation |

I wonder if the PV is illustrating something from the lyrics? I read them but couldn't find a connection. >_<
Heheh, "bubble pop" is cute! XD

What I was struck by was that, for some reason, I'm not sure if it has to do with the makeup, costume or hair, but she seems to be much older than she did in the recent TJ videos and appearances. It's even more off-putting because it's a 10-year-old song... anyone know what I mean?
