Currently listening to Land of Sunshine by Faith no More...
I giggled like a little school girl when I unintentionally linked Shiina Ringo to this song..

I'm not a huge fan of hip-hop, nor do I listen to a great deal of mash-ups's, but I was convinced to check out Girl Talk's latest album, which can be downloaded free in a Radiohead-like "Pay what you want" deal. The album flawlessly mashes together dozens of samples in each song, creating a wholly new creation blending together classic rock, pop and hip-hop and it's just so fun to listen to. See a list of samples used in each song here, and download the album here.

The Beatles - "Bad to Me"
I know that it seems odd to say the same band that at one time had a planet full of teenaged girls screaming for them would one day be considered underrated, but early Beatles are totally underrated. They may have looked squeaky clean, but they really weren't. They had just as much street cred as the later Beatles, in fact maybe more so. Plus they had nothing but class tunes that you just can't help but bob yer head and tap your feet.

Nearly double post but
Hooverphonic - In Bloom is the coolest song since Cibo Matto - About a Girl!
