Default Anyone interested in HF Instrumental?

music.e-onkyo.com is now selling the downloadable 'Heisei Fuzoku instrumental' version. Having not been the instrumental songs before this it may be good opportunity for HF fans(or KSK fans too).

The site provides demo-version on the site so try it before purchasing the songs.

The price of each song is 210 Yen, but the site is now having a promotional event. If you buy one song then you can get one song freely.(I bought 3 songs and got another 3 songs for free.) The event will end on 10th of May(~2007年5月10日(木)23時59分) so you have to hurry up.

Be cautious that you have to sign up the site in order to get one song for free.(They e-mail 'coupon ID' and you can get one song freely using the coupon ID. If you get the coupon ID you have to use it tilll the end of May) Because of this I recommend it for those who can speak Japanese. It accept VISA/JCB/MASTER/American Express/Diners card.

Hatsukoi Shoujo is an acid trip of an instrumental.

Hahaha, for reals.

It's weird hearing the instrumentals, you hear things you didn't even knew were in the songs.

The cover is kind of cute as well.

Can somebody help with navigating the site and setting up an account? I'd like to buy these, but I'm a bit lost on where to go and such...

Don't be in a rush to embrace this, as if it were some glorious opportunity. Most of you will be making a far bigger mistake than buying a DVD that doesn't even play sound (during the main feature) in your player...

Unlike the DVD, this music is proprietary. Mac users are completely shut out. And then the few PC users who can actually play this, will end up with some Digital "Rights" Management.
You don't just need to know Japanese. You need to know what you're doing when it comes to Windows multimedia, or else you're wasting your money.

I don't mean to ruin everyone's parade though.

Thanks, Pariscombo!

*Double-post*
I've seen that site before, but not for the instrumental versions of HF. ShiinaRingo.SE was linking to there for its 96kHz/24bit downloads of the regular versions. I shrugged that off because it was DRMed WMA-Lossless, which compared to the DVD-A I thought I'd be getting, I figured I would be trading one kind of bullshit copy protection for another, and there was no need for it if I'd already paid for the DVD.

After getting the DVD and ripping it, I forgot all about Onkyo.
Little did I realize, that since Onkyo's music files aren't associated with videos, they're not crossfaded! I'm just now noticing that the total minutes/seconds listed at Onkyo are "54:30", while my DVD rip is "53:49"...
hmmm....

Some tutorials

Listen Check
Before buying songs I recommend you to do 'Listen Check'.

Registration
I made a guide of how to register.
If you have any questions about this let me know.

Purchasing by Credit Card
The site says it will accept 'VISA/JCB/MASTER/American Express/Diners'.
But I can't garuantee whether your card be accepted or not even if your card is in above category. You have to check it by yourself.

Purchasing by Music Coupon
The promotional event came to an end.
As I said the site is now doing promotional event( ~ 2007.05.10 23h59m in japan time). If you buy one song they give you 'Music Coupon' by e-mail. On the e-mail there's 'Music Coupon ID'.

It looks like (see red-letters) :

<<< Windows Media Player 11

      EDXXXXXXXXXX94

Ah I didn't think about this kind of restrictions. Thanks for your pointing it out. As Glath said it has 'DRM' restiriction and I think it uses MS Media Player. ( I recorded the DRM file using 'Line to Line' recording and transmited it to my Mp3 player after coverting. It's a bit primitive and time-consuming way.)

Anyway this tutorial is from my experience so I can't warrant it with certainty.

Oh, now you post this!!! . I had to fight and scratch through the sight to get these songs . I have this pluggin called Rikachan on Firefox that translates any japanese character for me on the browser when I hover my mouse over it so I was able to figure it out. And knowing katakana and hiragana helped a bit too. I was able to get the coupons too, which was cool.

As for the media rights, I can only play it on windows media player because Zune software has its own online store so they do not let me play stuff from other online stores (i imagine itunes does the same) and so my plan was to burn the songs to a cd, and then rip the cd but I think the rights might still be there. So in searching online, I found this program:
http://www.tunebite.de/en/tunebite/index.html
It is called tunebite and it removes rights from audio files and video files. Unfortunately, the trial version only records 30 seconds of your song and I dont think i'm going to buy the full version.

So since I cant get the files to play in the zune software, I wont be able to listen to these tracks on my zune, only on my computer. It is dissappointing but I really like the tracks anyway, and I rarely listen to instrumental versions while I am on the go; I usually listen to them while im doing stuff on the pc so I guess this is convenient for me anyway.
