Well, this is looking to be the least "Trek" Star Trek film of all time... Gotta get on the bandwagon to get some of that mad Star Wars cash I suppose. Fast and the Furious in Space!

Watched the gaijin remake of Oldboy, and enjoyed it, though not as good as the original.

Posted this article on Arama today
http://aramajapan.com/news/sono-sion...ge-film/88159/ That's right. Nicolas Cage in a Sono Sion movie. Can't get more batshit potential than that really.

How does Lars von Trier followup his epic Nymphomaniac? A 2.5 hour film about a serial killer of course! And damn, Matt Dillon looks like he's the perfect lead man for it. The second film of 2018 I'm ACTUALLY keen about paying money to see (after Isle of Dogs)

^Looks promising.
I'm interested in seeing Deadpool 2, new Star Wars, and The First Purge... The Mother's Day movie Breaking In offends me a lot because I don't like African American female lead running around, just judging from trailer. |

Very delighted that Hirokazu Kore-eda won the Palme d'Or.
I've seen all of his feature films except for the Cocco documentary and The Third Murder. One of my favorite things about his works is his collaborations with Kirin Kiki! |

So, just out of curiosity, what's everyone's take on the Marvel movies?
Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard that Infinity War shattered all the box office records and then some. I'm actually a really big MCU fan, especially if it's the Russos doing the directing. Winter Soldier, Civil War, and the new Infinity War have all been fantastic movies. I'm surprised at how much I preferred Guardians 2 to the first one and also enjoyed Ant-Man and Homecoming.

Just watched Deadpool last week, it was great mixture of humour and action, definitely gonna see Deadpool 2.
I like the fact it's R-rated. |
