i like all the lyrics of the songs she sings in english. my favorite is Karisome Otome (Tameikesannoh ver.) or Love is Blind. I need to take the time and memorize the meanings of the Japaneses lyrics, but every thing i've read so far is really good. i like things to be a little semi-suicidal, it shows a lack of fear, and i myself am abstrct so i macth shiinas lyrics pretty well.

That's true, but that's also why I like to make a translation immediately after a new song comes out and I acquire the lyrics, to keep it as close to the era the song was originally written as possible. That way, at least the translation was done very close to the same time period the lyrics were.

Dialect biases are hard to avoid though. I'm not going to write translations that resemble a British person's, or an Australian's, or so forth. (And Tisheena Manzana's Spanish translations, made by an Argentine person, are going to be different from a Spaniard or a Mexican's.) That part is unavoidable. Although I try to keep the bias as out of the way as possible, and just write in a normal English.

I always liked the lyrics to Kabukichou no Joou, because it's not often a Ringo translation makes sense. The other one would be Stem (the actual English version). It seems to be about trying to live on after a bad incident that sticks in your head, and it just clicked with me.
