Also, I see absolutely nothing wrong with a celebrity selling Toyotas. Bach wrote an entire cantata as an advertisement for a coffeehouse. Music and musicians have been bought and sold for thousands of years. I have never understood the concept of authenticity that leads people to believe that "selling out" makes music less musical.

What I'd really like to know is what Toyota is getting out of the arrangement. Why exactly did they select Shiina Ringo as a spokesperson for their Homer car?
