I hope you realize that no matter how great or bad the original quality of your uploaded content is, that YouTube will put it through another generation of lossy compression anyway. So the 32kbps WMAs get butchered into... something that sounds like 24kbps even if in reality the new filesize is 192kbps, but when things are at least as bad as 32kbps and your mind is already filtering so much, you might not be able to notice the difference anyway.

Your heart's in the right place for wanting to spread the joy, but my point is, choose your battles where you can win them, because I don't think it takes an audiophile to agree that 24kbps audio (not quite 2% of the 1411kbps on CD) doesn't do Tokyo Jihen justice for introduction to potential new fans, though that's more EMI and YouTube's fault than yours. The still-images are adequate though (motion graphics for the lose!). In a perfect world this would all be null and void, if only I'd step infront of a moving bus I so rely on.

I don't think that's Ringo's fault or something, but considering that Ukigumo compositions sound ALL the same (some crunchy guitar, and a GAY choir of voices during the refrain) and Izawa's ones are cheesy as hell I'm going to start thinking that the next album is not a Tokyo Jihen album BUT Tokyo Jihen Feat. Shiina Ringo.....and that's too disappointing..........

Despite my knowing better I can't help but listen to the clips (..ok, I knew better, but i was goaded me into it.)

Now my usual stance is: "I dont judge on clips" -- but considering I wasn't planning on even stealing this album, I figured its genuine promotion from my pov this time, not anticipation. So it's actually ok to judge.

Kingyo: Whoever thought of the prospect of Shiina/Jihen playing anime music may soon get their wish/nightmare granted. J-pop crap.

Kronekodow: Bokoku Jyoshou pt 2! But cornier! Sweet!

Tsukigime-hime: An Uki song if I ever heard one. Mirrorball pt 2. I bet this one goes into the chorus 3 times more than it should too!

Metro: "Ok guys, lets take the approach I took for my one good song in a year span (Hatsukoi Shoujo) and corn it up with a stupid bass line and put sound effects worthy Sonic the Hedgehog in the background"
