If Ringo wrote a tune for McDonalds...I *might* actually go to McDonalds for once. That is not so much a commentary on Ringo as it is on what it would take to get me to go to McDonalds.

So, would it be fair to call the Kou Shibasaki single an utter failure?
I can't remember the last time a Ringo related release had this zero fucks given It's gotta be up there with WHERE IS THE LOVE right?

I really, really love the Shibasaki song, honestly...
And though her voice isn't as exciting as Ringo's, I appreciate how Ringo often gives her songs to singers with a really clear? vocal quality. It leaves me feeling weirdly refreshed after every listen.  I think I understand why she said that she wants to give her songs to actresses a little better now...I hope to hear her sing it herself in the near future, though...

So, the first preview for the Rakugo Shinjuu OP (the Hayamegu song) will be at a talk event for the show on held on 12/12.
Unfortunately, I'll be unable to go, but hopefully there is some sort of digest video following, or even an official preview. Not huge news, but I'll note it here just in case. this is a collaboration that I used to entertain possibilities of all the time, so I'm terribly excited to hear how it turns out.

Tomorrow night's show (12/9) is being filmed for broadcast in February of next year on WOWOW! That's the station that did Recohatsu. I wonder if anything extra special will happen...
Also, a friend spotted KOMI (from suiyoubi no campanella) eyeing goods at the show tonight
