Chinese article on Ringo - someone translate?
I've had this scan for a while, but it dawned on me just the other day that we have quite a few Chinese speaking members of this forum. So I thought, maybe one of you could translate this? I'm so curious

What does it say in the "椎名林檎雨張大碟 = The Beatles 的 white album?" area?
In Chinese, is the 的 also used to make adjectives out of nouns? |

you can say the '的' in Chinese = the 'の (no)' in Japanese on-topic: I will try to translate some, JR and Canto can do a better job though |

I have no confidence on translating long articles like this. I can get the general ideas in English, but can't put it into English in an idiomatic way.
This article is generally some commentary words on MM and SS (good comments, of course), as well as introduction on SR's life.Seems there isn't any constructive info. As for the column below, it says Japanese reviewers considered the consistency of MM and SS as brilliant as Beatles' White Album. Apart from this article, there're some other Chinese articles & interviews that you may be interested in. But I am just not sure whether I can handle the translation. |

If Shiina had made a double album of MM/SS material, I think it definitely could be uttered in the same sentence as The White Album (my fav album, and I think their best.) Supposedly she had lots of the SS songs already during MM. I'm not gonna say it would "=" the white album, but i'd definitely put them in the same pool.
(I misspelled definitely TWICE the same way while writing this post. "definarely")

They keep talking about the Shinjuku-kei thing!
Btw, the title is lame: "Shiina Ringo: The Border between Love and Pain." I'll translate this, but I currently don't have the resources (i.e. Chinese dictionary and English thesaurus) to do so. Soon, I promise! *nudge me if I forget* btw, how do you pronounce the author's name? I don't recognise the 2nd character.

Title: Shiina Ringo - The edge of love and pain
Written by (funnily enough) Kusanagi!!!! I skimmed through this, and picked up a passage that relates "Identity" to the "fast-paced hard rock of Marilyn Mason"... You guys and girls really want this translated? I really don't see anything note worthy here.
