Tokyo Jihen's covers

so, which is your favorite? mine is the criminally underrated C'mon Let's Go but Dynamite is close second. I didn't include If You Can Touch It and Shoujo Robot as they are more self-covers

I'm still disappointed that they didn't include the live performance of Yoake no Uta on the Discovery DVD, does anybody know if maybe there's a bootleg of it somewhere?

C'mon let's go for me too! Kurumaya-san is a close second, followed equally closely by Phase 1's cover of Minatomachi juusan banchi

deadgrandma 2012.02.28 01:49 AM

You know, that is surprisingly a tough question. I chose kurumuya san cause it's just so much fun, dynamite a close second.

I chose Kurumaya-san over Knock on your door; really the only two I'd pick out of here

Kurumaya-san because they dramatically changed the song and that sweet sexy melodica.

The Lady is a Tramp, Dynamite version.

Ringo rips into that one.

I love what they did with Dynamite during the eponymous tour (especially HZM's solo), but I've got to go with Kurumaya-san.

Yoake no Uta healed frayed nerves slightly at that time.

Maou 2012.02.28 08:01 AM

Tramp > Kurumaya-san > Knock on Your Door > Get it up > Yoake no Uta > Dynamite > C'mon Let's Go

See, actually, I don't like Kuruyama san at all.
Like, I can separate Ringo's Lady is a Tramp from Ella's, but not her Kurumaya san from Hibari.
