sounds just like the MCAS! Yeah, I think it is the same...there is similar tests in other states, although Massachusetts was the first to establish it, it fulfills that atrocious No Child Left Behind Act that pretty much every educator detests. It completely changed the way things are taught....when I was in school we took them at the 3, 8, and 10th grades. I was in 8th grade then and it was a trial so it didn't affect me. I guess now they have it split up for every grade starting with third and each year is a different subject. I went to a private high school so I didn't have to take it when I was a sophomore, they weren't funded by the state so they didn't have to comply. I was glad at the time but a lot of people I know got full scholarships to public state colleges thanks to high scores so sometimes I think it might have helped (or not)

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but this is about Ringo's cats (Nietzsche and Goethe--I hope she still has them). Anyone want to see a picture of them? I have one!

Isn't Goethe the cat all over the Mayonaka single and the HF box?

Nah, that cat is a kitten and grey moreover. Goethe is black and would be full grown by now. I'm sure the HF kitten is just one they hired. I don't have my Mayonaka single with me though, so I can't check it (although I don't recall any cats there?).

I see the commenting on the cats but not the asking for the picture of the cats. It just doesn't add up!
Would you mind sharing this picture, frecklegirl?
