Fukushuu's problem is its a derivative MTV-style rock song where Shiina Ringo should be, same with the whole album: it's (some crap) where Shiina Ringo should be.
I don't know how it's the worst when there are obvious bigger fishes to fry: BB Queen and Toumei Ningen (Adult ver.), Maou is so right. BB Queen reminds me of that album in Red Dwarf with the government health warning sticker on it: "This music can make you irritable and irrational and has been linked to disorders of the nervous system and bowels". Maybe noone else has mentioned it because half the remaining Jihen fans with taste died as a result of listening to it? Metro's the best one on Variety and it's the one I carried on listening to, along with Kaban no Nakami and Karada (I get why people would consider Karada boring, but I quite like it). I quite liked the Fukushuu version played at Spa & Treatment, not that is was particularly different to the album version.

...Fukushuu is actually better than a lot of the other crap on Variety
Ughhhh, I'm not excited for Sports really at all. It's depressing. |

To me, a lot of the songs in Variety have a pretty damn good song hidden beneath a few layers of mediocre pop. That's why I'm excited for Sports. I'm hoping that the past years have allowed all the individual members of TJ to fine tune and peel away the crap layers.

Why are we bringing Variety up again? This is a topic on the new album.
I understand not too many are fond of Variety... and that people here enjoy debating on a lot of things, but... c'mon guys. I checked here expecting to see new information. I found it. Underneath all the kvetching. Sorry if I upset anyone. Just wanted to leave my two cents. |

Flash Girl, 3 Mins., and the clip of that new song in the gum commercial all sound good to me.
old SR is never coming back. She already had her chance to reclaim that old sound and didnt take it. so why not enjoy the music of the present on its own merits? |
