madpawn is gonna love Spa and Treatment lives. So many times SR's voice goes really really distorted and ugly. I don't like it, but I'm sure some fans out there love that kind of thing.

Highlights: Kingyo, Gunjo biyori. I especially liked Gunjo here.

And can somebody tell me why TJ suddenly needs 3 guitars for Gunjo Biyori?

They already did that in the Countdown Live Japan, but this one is better

MFcker! I have to state again my love for this version of OSCA. The tempo is perfect and Shiina is perfect. The extra touches like her dancing, shaking her tail, bobbing her head, and turninng the mic to the audience is sooooooooooo good.

I have trouble now keeping myself from shouting "OSCA" during my morning subway trips.

My favourite moments of the show:
1. Ukigumo says "Gomenasai" in Botoumin. Gomenasai! Perfect. He should say it in every show!
2. Hata taking a picture of himself, his adorable hat and the crowd.

Best song in Spa and Treatment: Karada. The recorded version was kinda tacky, but this live version came through very nicely. I certainly didn't expect it to be this good live, but this performance really made this song quite wonderful.
Gunjo Biyori, Kingyo, Marusadi and Shuraba were enjoyable too.
Kaban no Nakami, which I think is the best Variety-era song, didn't translate into the killer live performance I was looking forward to. In fact when Hata started drumming I was wondering if they were going to perform Sounan or Blackout or Kaban. Sigh recycling...

Other than those few high points, SR (and the band) looked quite bored. At least in JCHI SR looked happier.

Also... wardrobe. Ughhh. What's up with their stylist! Kameda in the "Gazette/John Galliano" newsprint T screams mid-life crisis. Ukigumo in an oversized shirt and that Einstein hair and (pathetic) moustache... all he needs is a straight-jacket to complete his look. And just when I thought things couldn't get worse in the wardrobe department, there comes SR wearing the exact same oversized shirt - in orange. *Deep sigh*

One thing that really bugs me... SR singing off-key. A few times. (Metro is the most obvious one.) And many times she way she sang seemed rather nonchalant, like she didn't really care about pitching the notes right. Does anybody feel that way?

I haven't seen the whole concert yet (free service downloads...) but I also felt a global lack of energy, especially from SR. maybe the "end of a tour" syndrom ?
Oh, and Uki is not wearing an oversized shirt, it is a robe ! he's dressed like a woman (watch the legs and shoes...) yeah Fluffie, he's so gay :-)

The only moment where she REALLY is out of tune is at her first phrase in Boutomin, but she's coming from the backstage side and doesn't have her stage sound marks (she took a risk on that one !)
