^ Tell me is sooo much better. I loved So Hot, but I didn't really get all of the hype with Nobody. When I first got into them I watched this performance ad nauseum. (The part with Yoobin and TOP doing the rap to Lies together is soooo good!) And I can't believe that was almost 2 years ago, because it wasn't long after this performance aired. I'm old.
Now both Wonder Girls and Big Bang are AWOL, Son Dambi is off acting, the Korean music scene is much less interesting than what it was the past two years. And on top of that a new wave of sub-par girl groups are taking over. (After School, 2NE1, 4 Minute) Though I do really like Kara's new song, Wanna:
I couldn't be bothered with their 4 member more-adult FinKL-part-2 act in '07, and last year they reformed with 5 members and a very cute image which was just as bad. This one has pretty good songs at least. And listening to it again reminded me of just how much I love this song. Last edited by mizer_unmei : 2009.08.21 at 11:02 AM. |

YouTube sometimes recommends surprising little gems. I performed in a few CageFests before he passed away in 1992. |

@mizer_unmei: that first song is so crowded with cheering I could barely make out the song... Nobody is a hit because it's a simple catchy song with cute gals that both the ladies and the gentlemen like. I want to hate that song so much but I can't, same thing for Perfume's Polyrhythm!

Look at him beat the crap out of his guitar while he plays it, hooray unconventional percussion! |

JR: Nobody was their biggest single in Korea too, where they won the weekly awards and such with it non stop. Plus it's the one they're pushing here while on tour with the Jonas Brothers. But ever since it came out I thought, while not bad, it was lackluster in comparison to Tell Me, So Hot, and basically everything on their first album. :/
And Tell Me's dance is what made them a sensation with imitations.
But what's better than that? THIS:
Mainly because of this:
Sorry all, it's a bit of a video explosion here... Last edited by mizer_unmei : 2009.08.24 at 07:58 PM. |

Dir en grey - Yokan
Why don't they make more songs like this. Yokan, Hotarubi, Zakuro, Yurameki, and Jessica are so much better than anything else they've made.
